Account Executive – Commercial Insurance (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking an Account Executive to join our commercial insurance broking team in Bristol. The position balances relationship‑led growth with client retention, allowing you to develop existing accounts while responsibly pursuing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities that fit commercial objectives.
• Secure new business where there is a sensible commercial fit.
• Collaborate closely with internal broking and support teams.
• Handle policy renewals, negotiate terms with insurers, and provide tailored advice.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with a solid understanding of the commercial insurance market.
• Excellent client‑facing and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to balance growth targets with client retention.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
