Account Handler - Commercial Motor Insurance

About the role

Everywhen Insurance Brokers, part of the Ardonagh Group, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Account Handler to join its Dumfries team. The role supports clients in the Commercial Motor market in a hybrid setting, with a focus on customer service and achieving role-specific targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deal with inbound and outbound client calls to process and manage their insurance.
• Calculate, negotiate and deliver premiums, and agree payment methods.
• Cross-sell policies that clients do not currently hold.
• Offer risk management measures such as driver training and driver CPC courses.
• Achieve KPIs and targets specific to the role.

Required profile

• Confident telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and trust.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, target-driven environment.
• Good IT literacy and a strong team ethos.
• Insurance knowledge is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided.
