Account Handler – Financial Lines (19‑month contract)

About the role

Join NFU Mutual's specialist Financial Lines team on a 19‑month fixed‑term contract as an Account Handler. You will work closely with agents, regional sales teams and leading insurers to deliver D&O, Cyber and Professional Indemnity solutions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain quotations and arrange new business for Financial Lines policies.
• Manage renewals and support claims administration.
• Provide technical guidance to agents on complex insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with head‑office underwriting and the agency network to secure placements in the composite and London markets.
• Assist the Wholesale Broking team in finding open‑market solutions for high‑value risks.

Required profile

• Experience in insurance distribution, preferably within Financial Lines.
• Strong understanding of D&O, Cyber and PI products.
• Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts clearly.
• Commitment to continuous professional development under the Insurance Distribution Directive.
