Account Handler/ Technician (Financial Lines)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Account Handler/Technician to join our Financial Lines team. You will support global broker operations, prepare renewal documentation, and provide technical expertise across a range of insurance lines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide global broker support and prepare renewal statistics for market placement.
• Create and produce market and client documentation, including slip production, wording, and clauses.
• Draft client evidence of coverage, such as debit/credit notes.
• Produce monthly reports, maintain internal paper and electronic systems, and manage databases and workflows.
• Submit slips and LPANs to relevant bureaus and assist with client liaison to ensure prompt query handling.
• Develop business relationships with global markets, clients, and colleagues while continuously reviewing service delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Account Handler or Technician, preferably within Financial Lines.
• Intermediate knowledge of the (re)insurance market and its dynamics.
• Strong communication, high accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• CII qualification or working towards it.
• Organised, able to prioritise, multi‑task and meet strict deadlines.
