Account Manager / Client Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager / Client Manager to oversee a portfolio of high‑net‑worth insurance clients in the financial services sector. You will deliver exceptional customer service, ensure policy requirements are met, and support the broader broking team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of high‑net‑worth insurance clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems.
• Process new business accounts, place policies and issue documentation within agreed timescales.
• Handle client renewals, review cover, remarket policies and issue renewal paperwork in line with FCA requirements.
• Respond to client queries, policy amendments and mid‑term adjustments.
• Collaborate with Client Managers and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
• Assist in preparing client reports and supporting documentation.
• Identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities to enhance relationships.
• Contribute to team revenue through client retention and new business support.

Required profile

• Previous experience in insurance, account management or a customer‑focused role.
• Knowledge of household insurance products.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, proactive and customer‑focused attitude.
• Commitment to regulatory standards and excellent client outcomes.
