Account Manager – DSTL Business Development

About the role

The Account Manager will lead growth of QinetiQ’s DSTL pipeline, shaping market opportunities and turning early‑stage concepts into qualified capture projects. You will work closely with senior QinetiQ leaders and UK Ministry of Defence stakeholders to maximise strategic returns.

Key responsibilities

• Drive pipeline growth across a DSTL portfolio of £3 bn over three years.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritise new market opportunities and develop early‑stage opportunities into qualified capture projects.
• Coordinate with QinetiQ’s client leads, capture teams and senior directors to align messaging and maximise returns.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with senior officials in the UK Ministry of Defence and DSTL to influence the proposal pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven track record of winning business with defence customers, particularly DSTL.
• Established relationships with senior stakeholders in the UK MoD and ability to influence strategic programmes.
