Account Manager – Energy & Industry

About the role

Hilti is looking for an Account Manager to join its Energy and Industry division in Glasgow. You will work directly with large, complex customers, visiting sites daily to deliver solutions that boost productivity, safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Spend most weekdays in the field, meeting customers at their locations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships, presenting solutions that meet client needs.
• Generate new business by identifying leads, following up and closing deals.
• Manage existing accounts to ensure ongoing success within your territory.
• Plan and maintain a robust sales pipeline using proven methods and creative ideas.
• Leverage digital tools and training to uncover opportunities and achieve targets.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Hilti products, market trends and industry developments.

Required profile

• Full, manual UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) and willingness to travel Monday‑Friday.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
• Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused role, preferably as an account manager or in business development.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Resilience, adaptability and confidence engaging stakeholders from site operators to managing directors.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with a drive to uncover pain points and deliver value.
