Account Manager – Foodservice Clients

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team in Winchester. The role focuses on managing key foodservice clients, building long‑term relationships and driving sales growth in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of key customer accounts across restaurants, retailers, wholesalers and foodservice businesses.
• Identify new business opportunities and support overall sales growth.
• Lead commercial discussions and create account development plans.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and customer support teams.
• Conduct regular client meetings, business reviews and prepare forecasts and performance reports.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Support junior team members as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, sales or business development.
• Strong negotiation, commercial awareness and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, target‑driven and confident communicator.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
• Organisational and administrative competence.
• Experience in food distribution, FMCG or hospitality is a plus.
