Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager at Trescal Limited you will be the primary point of contact for our customers in Stevenage, ensuring they receive a seamless experience from enquiry through to delivery. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, promoting our calibration and testing services, and helping clients maximise the value of our solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive, long‑term relationships with assigned customer accounts.
• Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing timely updates on orders.
• Promote Trescal services and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Support customers using the online portal and coordinate workflows to meet deadlines.
• Review customer documentation in line with quality procedures.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations.
• Collaborate with Laboratory, Logistics, Sales and other departments.
• Assist with office administration and reception duties as needed.
• Undertake other duties appropriate to the role.

Required profile

• Previous experience in account management, customer service, sales support or administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Commercial awareness with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight stays.
