Account Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading supplier of clothing, uniforms and PPE across the UK and Europe, is seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to join their friendly, office‑based team in Gerrards Cross. You will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of B2B customers, ensuring their needs are met and helping the business grow.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned client accounts.
• Serve as the primary contact for enquiries, order processing and project updates.
• Coordinate internally to deliver orders efficiently and on schedule.
• Handle bespoke customer requests from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels and anticipate future requirements.
• Produce reports and management information in line with service level agreements.
• Build product knowledge to support customers and identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting and planning for accounts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in account management, customer service, internal sales or a client‑facing administrative role.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Confidence working with systems, databases and CRM platforms.
• Good numeracy, commercial awareness and a proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Salary between £30,000 and £40,000 per year, dependent on experience.
