Account Manager

About the role

Elis is seeking an Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of hospitality customers in Newton Abbot. You will act as the primary contact, building lasting relationships and ensuring the delivery of reliable, sustainable services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of hospitality customer accounts.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships and act as the main point of contact.
• Drive customer retention through proactive account management.
• Identify opportunities to grow accounts and expand service offerings.
• Monitor account performance, analyse trends and provide insights.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
• Resolve customer queries and issues quickly and effectively.
• Support pricing reviews and ensure commercial viability.

Required profile

• Experience in account management, sales or customer service.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Proactive, customer‑first approach.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and working with data.
• Positive, adaptable attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
• Driving licence essential; hospitality experience beneficial but not required.
