Account Manager – Maternity Cover (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This 7‑month fixed‑term position supports the Major Risks Practice Division of an international Lloyd's broker. You will manage a portfolio of corporate and major risk accounts, building strong relationships while ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities for moderately complex client accounts.
• Secure existing business and drive new sales opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior client representatives and buyers.
• Coordinate administrative and customer‑service support as needed.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Broker Producers to meet client needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial or Corporate Account Handler handling large corporate or global risk accounts.
• Ability to work towards targets, pay strong attention to detail and assess critical issues quickly.
• Excellent communication and rapport‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Relevant licence held; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
