Account Manager – Technical Sales, Water Treatment

About the role

We are a well‑established engineering business supplying market‑leading UV and water‑treatment solutions to manufacturing and industrial customers across the UK. We are seeking a progressive and dynamic Account Manager to grow an established customer base and drive new business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities while increasing revenue within an existing portfolio of industrial customers.
• Build strong relationships with engineers, production managers, maintenance teams and procurement professionals.
• Recommend technical solutions that improve efficiency, productivity and operational performance.
• Manage the full sales process from enquiry and quotation through to negotiation, order and ongoing account development.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM whilst identifying future growth opportunities.
• Work closely with internal technical specialists and supplier partners to deliver exceptional customer support.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technical products, engineered solutions or industrial equipment into manufacturing or process‑led environments.
• Ability to build credibility with engineers, production managers, maintenance teams and procurement professionals.
• Experience managing your own sales pipeline and forecasting activity through a CRM system.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively and convert enquiries into orders.
