Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role

The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations for RBM Food, a growing food manufacturing business in Karachi. This full-time, on-site position involves maintaining accurate records, preparing statements and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record all financial transactions, maintain the general ledger and perform bookkeeping tasks.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and ensure timely collections.
• Reconcile bank accounts and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Provide audit support and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial controls and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or food-industry accounting is beneficial.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
