Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance (Hybrid)

About the role

This position is for an experienced Accountant who will manage financial reporting, budgeting and compliance for a medium‑sized industrial and manufacturing organisation. You will support senior management with accurate financial data and help drive informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial reports in line with regulatory standards.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to align with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
• Analyse financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes efficiently.
• Support internal and external audits by supplying required documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial operations.
• Assist in streamlining accounting processes and implementing best practices.

Required profile

• A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance within a similar industry.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software.
