Accountant – Multi‑currency & HR Support

About the role

We are looking for a capable and detail‑oriented Accountant to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Aylesbury. This full‑time, permanent position offers a varied, hands‑on experience supporting both finance and HR administration within a close‑knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Multi‑currency bank and account reconciliations
• Processing multi‑currency purchase invoices and supplier payment runs
• Banking administration and support for monthly payroll (liaising with outsourced provider)
• Pension administration and employee HR record maintenance
• Managing annual leave records and HR documentation
• Assisting with P11Ds, company car fleet, and lease records
• VAT reconciliations (UK quarterly, Irish bi‑monthly)
• Supporting month‑end, year‑end audit and ad‑hoc reporting

Required profile

• AAT qualified or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years in a similar all‑round finance role
• Experience in an SME/manufacturing environment is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data accurately
