Accountant – Real Estate Lender

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our specialist real‑estate lending business in London. The role offers broad exposure to multiple UK entities, allowing you to develop technical expertise in financial reporting, statutory accounts, tax compliance and audit within a collaborative, office‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and reconciliations across several UK entities.
• Support month‑end reporting, preparation of statutory accounts and tax compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisers to ensure timely audit completion.
• Maintain accurate financial records while upholding strong internal controls and accounting standards.
• Identify and implement finance process improvements and assist with wider accounting activities.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA or equivalent).
• 1‑3 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or multi‑entity environment.
• Proven experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation and reporting.
