Accounting Apprentice – Entry Level Bookkeeping Role

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a school‑leaver the chance to start a career in accounting and finance with a well‑established firm of accountants in Harrow. You will work alongside experienced professionals while studying for an AAT or similar qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase invoices
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain client financial records
• Assist with VAT returns and month‑end procedures
• Liaise with clients to collect necessary documentation
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations

Required profile

• GCSEs including Maths and English (grade B or above)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Proactive, eager‑to‑learn attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
