Accounting Manager – Lead Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to take full ownership of accounting operations for a multinational organisation. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will lead a high‑performing team, ensure statutory compliance and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise accounting operations across multiple entities.
• Manage the monthly close process, delivering accurate and timely financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, fiscal and group accounting standards.
• Oversee tax compliance, including declarations and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external advisors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
• Partner with controlling teams on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
• Lead, develop and motivate the accounting team, handling performance management and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance management role.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, tax and compliance.
• Experience managing month‑end and year‑end processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management capability.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working in a structured, process‑driven environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using financial reporting tools.
