Accounts Administrator – Finance Support

About the role

Think Accountancy & Finance are seeking an Accounts Administrator to support a well‑established business in Hemel Hempstead. The contract runs until at least December 2026 with a possible extension to April 2027, providing a valuable opportunity to work on a company‑wide system implementation and gain experience in a dynamic finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Cash posting and allocation of customer payments
• Coding remittances
• Processing lease allocations
• Processing stock and purchase invoices
• Matching invoices to purchase orders
• Manual invoice processing
• Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing across AR and AP

Required profile

• Previous experience in finance administration, accounts assistant, purchase ledger or accounts receivable roles (preferred)
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
• Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative finance team
