About the role
Join a respected and expanding accountancy practice in Exeter where you can deepen your audit expertise while still enjoying the variety of accounts work. This senior position offers a balanced mix of audit assignments and statutory accounts preparation for a diverse client portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver external audit assignments from initial planning through to completion.
- Prepare statutory accounts for a broad range of clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted point of contact.
- Support, mentor and review the work of junior team members.
- Collaborate closely with Managers and Partners to ensure high‑quality service across audit and accounts.
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification.
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice covering both audit and accounts preparation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a varied workload while maintaining high technical standards.
