Accounts and Client Manager – Chartered Accountancy Firm

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Client Manager to join a well‑established chartered accountancy practice in Holsworthy. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, delivering high‑quality accounts, tax and advisory services while supporting the firm’s directors.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of client portfolios, ensuring timely delivery of accounts, tax returns and related services.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional advisory and planning work.
• Lead and supervise a team of junior staff, providing guidance and training.
• Collaborate with senior partners on business development and project work.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with managerial experience in an accountancy practice.
• Proven track record of handling accounts, tax and broader business services for OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients.
• Strong understanding of a range of industry sectors, including farming, charities, professional services and more.
• Ambitious career mindset with a desire for progression within a reputable firm.

Required skills

• ACA/ACCA qualification.
• Expertise in UK accounting and tax regulations.
