Accounts and Tax Manager, Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts and Tax Manager / Senior Accountant to join our growing practice in Nailsea. You will be responsible for delivering year‑end accounts, tax returns and a range of advisory services for a diverse portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review year‑end accounts and tax computations for clients across multiple sectors.
• Provide advisory support and liaise with clients to develop strong relationships.
• Act as a key point of contact for the firm’s Director, supporting strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Assist in the development of junior staff and contribute to practice growth.

Required profile

• Qualified with AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent experience in an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience delivering accounts and tax services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations.
• Ability to manage client relationships and work autonomously.
