Accounts Assistant (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

You will join Trinity Estates on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, working hybrid from our Hemel Hempstead office and home. As an Accounts Assistant you will support the finance team in processing high‑volume transactions, reconciling accounts and ensuring month‑end activities run smoothly for a UK‑wide property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, credit notes and staff expenses with correct coding and approvals.
• Prepare and run weekly payment runs, resolving any exceptions before deadlines.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate unreconciled items.
• Maintain resident and supplier accounts, post receipts and allocate payments.
• Assist with month‑end journals, accruals, pre‑payments and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Respond to finance queries from Property Managers, residents and suppliers.

Required profile

• Detail‑driven and highly organised with the ability to manage high‑volume transactions.
• Strong ownership of accuracy and deadlines, with clear communication when issues arise.
• Comfortable working within set processes while seeking improvements.
• Effective time‑management skills for a hybrid working environment.
