Key responsibilities

• Preparing accounts, tax returns, payroll and bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of business and personal clients.
• Assisting with audit assignments and gaining wider exposure across the practice.
• Building technical knowledge through day‑to‑day client work.
• Supporting colleagues with client queries and general accounting requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to support the growth of existing client relationships.
• Attending exam preparation courses and completing home study as part of ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Working towards or already holding an AAT qualification with a genuine interest in a long‑term accountancy career.
• Organised, accurate and keen to learn, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
