Accounts Assistant – Finance Team (West Drayton)

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our growing finance team in West Drayton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in finance within a supportive, international organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
• Enter financial data and verify information for accuracy.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with credit control by monitoring outstanding balances and following up overdue payments.
• Respond to supplier and internal finance queries promptly and professionally.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations and management information.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve finance processes and efficiencies.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance function as required.

Required profile

• Highly organised, numerate and detail‑oriented.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role.
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
