Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a newly created Accounts Assistant to join a growing international business. This position goes beyond traditional bookkeeping, offering exposure to month‑end processes, project accounting, reconciliations and multiple finance systems. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their finance experience while working in a hybrid model (3 days remote, 2 days office).

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales invoices, credit notes and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support both accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform supplier, customer, bank and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end activities including journals, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Support project accounting, monitor project costs and help with profitability reporting.
• Work across various ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy.
• Assist internal and external audits.
• Produce reports and contribute to finance improvement projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
• Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Good Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
