Accounts Assistant Manager – Pitstone

About the role

Pro‑Finance is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant Manager to join its growing, tech‑enabled practice in Pitstone. You will manage a portfolio of owner‑managed businesses while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner‑managed business clients.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns.
• Supervise, review and mentor junior team members.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve client service and internal processes.
• Support managers and directors on complex assignments as required.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent experience.
• Recent UK practice experience with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Proven experience preparing corporation tax returns.
• Comfortable reviewing work and supporting junior staff.
• Confident in direct client interaction.
