About the role
Due to continued success, a well‑established accountancy practice in Weston‑super‑Mare is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its team. You will work with a broad client portfolio, supporting the preparation of year‑end accounts, tax returns and VAT bookkeeping.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare year‑end accounts for a range of clients.
- Compile and submit tax returns.
- Handle VAT accounting and general bookkeeping tasks.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Understanding of year‑end accounts, tax return preparation and VAT processes.
