Accounts Manager – Accountancy Practice

About the role

This permanent position is with a respected, forward‑thinking accountancy practice in Weybridge. As Accounts Manager you will lead a team of accountants and trainees while maintaining strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review accounts and tax returns for a varied client base.
• Oversee corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
• Supervise, mentor and develop a team of accountants and trainees.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries and relationship management.
• Collaborate with partners on advisory projects and identify opportunities for added value.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax legislation.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Significant experience within an accountancy practice.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and deliver a professional service.
• Experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team.
• Proactive, organised and confident in developing others.
