Accounts Manager – Accountancy Practice

About the role

A well‑established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in West London is looking to recruit an ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional who enjoys a hands‑on role, mentoring junior staff, and building strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed businesses and SMEs.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of SME and owner‑managed business clients.
• Preparing statutory accounts and reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff.
• Overseeing bookkeeping and VAT compliance work.
• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
• Working directly with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong accounts preparation and review experience.
• Good communication and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workloads effectively.
