About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our regional chartered accountancy practice in Chard. This position offers a varied mix of full‑cycle accounts preparation, client liaison and business advisory work within a friendly, well‑established firm.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounts preparation process for a portfolio of clients.
- Maintain extensive client contact, providing advice and addressing queries.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
- Deliver business advice and support to clients as required.
Required profile
- Relevant practice experience within an accountancy firm.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, AAT or QBE.
- Strong client‑facing and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and develop junior team members.
