Accounts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead the accounting function for a blue‑chip client across multiple entities. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, driving process improvements and providing accurate financial information to support strategic decisions. You will work in a supportive, onsite environment with a Monday‑Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise accounting operations across assigned entities.
• Manage the monthly close process and deliver timely, accurate financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, fiscal and group accounting standards.
• Oversee tax compliance, including declarations and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain relationships with advisors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance processes.
• Partner with controlling teams on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, develop and motivate the accounting team, handling performance management and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance management role.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, tax and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month‑end and year‑end processes.
• Leadership and team‑management capability.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working in a structured, process‑driven environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using financial reporting tools.
