About the role
The firm, a regional Chartered Accountancy practice in Exeter, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead the full accounts preparation process and provide client liaison and business advice.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients.
- Maintain extensive client liaison, offering business advice and support.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm procedures.
Required profile
- Proven experience in an accountancy practice.
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong client‑facing skills and ability to manage a diverse client base.
