Accounts Manager – Thame

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Manager to join our growing, well‑backed accountancy practice in Thame. You will play a central part in shaping workflows, influencing service delivery and collaborating with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve accounts workflows across the team.
• Review statutory accounts (FRS102, FRS102 1A, FRS105).
• Plan resources and stay ahead of deadlines.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Work directly with Partners on technical and commercial matters.
• Oversee corporation tax work.
• Support and develop junior team members.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• At least 3 years post‑qualified experience in practice.
• Strong UK GAAP knowledge.
• Experience reviewing accounts and managing deadlines.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients.
• Proactive mindset focused on improvement.
