Accounts Payable Assistant – Hybrid (Gatwick)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join a well‑known organisation’s AP team in Gatwick. You will manage a dedicated section of a busy ledger, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time while supporting the purchase‑order process.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile a high‑volume Accounts Payable ledger.
• Check invoices, GRNI and perform three‑way matching against purchase orders.
• Prepare payment runs and resolve any payment queries.
• Push back on invoices lacking correct PO details and support PO compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain required information.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant on large, busy ledgers.
• Strong understanding of GRNI, three‑way matching and PO‑driven processes.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Oracle, SAP or Agresso financial systems.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
