Accounts Payable Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a growing healthcare group, is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a dedicated finance team of five professionals. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days working from home, and offers the chance to shape processes and drive efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Accurate input of invoices onto the accounting software
• Report any invoice discrepancies and reconcile supplier invoices
• Chase outstanding invoices and perform bank and petty cash reconciliations
• Prepare payment runs and ensure compliance with group KPIs
• Maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations within the team
• Improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency
• Lead, mentor and develop the team, set objectives and conduct performance reviews
• Allocate work, meet deadlines and support recruitment and training

Required profile

• Experience in a team management or supervisory role
• Desire to lead and develop a collaborative workforce
• Understanding of finance processes with hands‑on experience or relevant qualification
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Excel
