Accounts Receivable Clerk

About the role

Join a rapidly expanding retail business as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. You will play a vital part in maintaining cash flow by managing invoices, payments, and customer queries within a collaborative finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and process customer invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor customer accounts, allocate incoming payments and resolve cash allocation queries.
• Chase outstanding debt and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies and produce aged debtor reports.
• Support month‑end close activities and reporting requirements.
• Assist with process improvements across the Accounts Receivable function.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Sales Ledger.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Confident communicator with stakeholder‑management skills.
