About the role
Join a fast‑paced international business as an Accounts Receivable Executive. You will own cash collection, maintain customer accounts and support the finance team in keeping the company’s cash flow healthy.
Key responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and keep an accurate sales ledger.
- Allocate payments, reconcile balances and prepare aged debt reports.
- Proactively chase outstanding debt and reduce overdue balances.
- Investigate and resolve invoice disputes, debit notes, deductions, returns and pricing queries.
- Support credit control activities, including credit reviews and risk monitoring.
- Assist with month‑end processes, reporting and cash‑flow forecasting.
Required profile
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Credit Control.
- Strong reconciliation and account‑management abilities.
- Background in wholesale, consumer goods, fashion, footwear, apparel or FMCG.
- Multi‑currency accounts receivable experience.
- Knowledge of UK VAT and European trade procedures.
- German or French language skills.
- AAT qualification or studying towards ACCA/CIMA.
