Accounts Receivable Team Lead

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Team Lead will manage the full debtor ledger and drive process improvements across invoicing, credit control and cash flow. This is a fixed‑term, hybrid position based in Winnersh, offering a salary of £40,000 per year and a 35‑hour week.

Key responsibilities

• Standardise third‑party invoicing and intercompany processes.
• Onboard new customers and manage credit controls.
• Support the team with sales invoice creation and project code set‑up.
• Reconcile customer accounts and assist with month‑end activities.
• Own the debtor ledger, accrued/deferred income, FX revaluations and intercompany/BS reconciliations.
• Implement a structured dunning letter process and manage collections.
• Control day‑to‑day cash and prepare short‑term cash‑flow forecasts.
• Report operational KPIs and manage the accounts mailbox and phone line.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent financial systems.

Required profile

• AAT Level 4 qualification.
• Experience in sales ledger management and credit control.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong communication, time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Background in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
