About the role

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
• Complete VAT returns and undertake bookkeeping assignments as required.
• Build strong client relationships, provide practical advice and respond to day‑to‑day queries.
• Collaborate closely with senior colleagues to maintain a high standard of client service.

Required profile

• Experience working in an accountancy practice, handling a range of clients.
• Confidence in preparing accounts and tax returns.
• Qualifications such as AAT, ACA or ACCA are advantageous, though experience‑based candidates will also be considered.
