Accounts Semi‑Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client, an independent and friendly firm of accountants, is looking for a semi‑senior accountant to support the accounts and outsourcing teams. The role will involve preparing statutory accounts and tax returns, contributing directly to the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare FRS102, FRS102 1A and FRS105 accounts.
• Prepare corporation tax returns.
• Prepare personal tax returns.
• Assist the accounts team with ad‑hoc tasks.
• Support the outsourcing team during busy periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of practice experience in an accounting firm.
• Studying towards or already qualified with AAT, ACCA or ICAEW (study support available).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong understanding of VAT, PAYE/NIC, bookkeeping and overall accounting practice.

What we offer
