Accounts Senior

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Senior to join a reputable Chartered Accountancy firm in Bournemouth. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, delivering year‑end financial statements, tax computations and advisory services. This position is ideal for a qualified or part‑qualified accountant looking to progress within practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse client portfolio and prepare year‑end financial statements.
• Perform corporate tax computations and produce management accounts.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and address client queries.
• Attend client meetings and provide business advisory support.
• Assist and mentor junior staff members.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified or part‑qualified.
• Relevant practice experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of FRS102.

Required skills

• Sage accounting software.
• Xero accounting software.
• FRS102 reporting standards.
