Accounts Supervisor

About the role

Join a well‑established international accountancy firm as an Accounts Supervisor. This full‑time, hybrid position is based in Leatherhead and is ideal for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with solid practice experience who wants to manage a diverse client portfolio and develop junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Review management accounts for UK and multinational companies prepared by department staff.
• Provide advice on VAT and PAYE matters.
• Support start‑ups with comprehensive financial assistance.
• Implement and maintain accounting and computerised financial systems.
• Prepare UK financial reports for limited companies, sole traders and LLPs.
• Undertake project work, investigations and occasional client secondments.
• Handle multi‑currency accounting requirements.
• Offer general business advice across a wide range of subjects.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Proven ability to manage client portfolios and deliver high‑quality work.
• Experience developing and reviewing the work of junior staff.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with senior management and clients.

Required skills

• Sage accounting software.
• Xero accounting software.
