About the role
This full‑time permanent position offers a junior finance professional the chance to develop their accounting career within a supportive, client‑focused practice in Exeter. You will work with a diverse portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, gaining hands‑on experience in year‑end accounts and tax compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review year‑end accounts for a range of clients.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Handle VAT returns and general bookkeeping tasks.
- Work with cloud‑based accounting software to maintain client records.
Required profile
- Recent experience in an accountancy practice.
- Either already started a professional accounting qualification or motivated to begin one.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to client service.
Required skills
- Proficiency with cloud‑based accounting software.
