Activities Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join the Bluebell House team in Wokingham. You will work full‑time (37 hours per week) between 9 am and 6 pm, including alternate weekends, to create a vibrant, supportive environment for residents living with dementia and long‑term health conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a varied programme of activities that cater to different interests, abilities and cultural backgrounds.
• Tailor activities to individual residents and involve families to maximise wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
• Collaborate with nurses, healthcare assistants and other staff to integrate activities into daily care plans.
• Maintain activity records, assess participation levels and adjust programmes as needed.

Required profile

• Infectious enthusiasm and a creative, people‑centred approach.
• Willingness to work alternate weekends and hold a valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to inspire both residents and staff to take part in activities.
