Actuarial Pensions Consultant – Bristol

About the role

WTW is seeking a Pension Actuarial Consultant to join its UK Defined Benefit pensions team in Bristol. You will work on a variety of trustee and corporate assignments, providing expert advice and contributing to innovative projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare regular valuations, accounting, PPF levies and individual calculations.
• Conduct factor reviews and guarantee minimum pension (GMP) equalisation.
• Support integrated risk management, liability management and asset‑liability modelling.
• Contribute to plan design strategy, journey planning and mergers & acquisitions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and lead project delivery.

Required profile

• Experience working as a pension actuary on core UK defined benefit pensions.
• IFoA qualified or nearly qualified actuary.
• Strong client‑service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven delegation, coaching and mentorship abilities.
• High sense of accountability and self‑starter attitude.
