Administrator – Business Incubation Support

About the role
We are seeking an Administrator to join our Business Incubation Support team at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. You will provide essential administrative support for the management of over 130 technology tenant companies, handling invoicing, lease agreements, site access, and office resources.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain tenant management databases and the Tenant Portal.
- Produce lease agreements and facility‑use contracts from templates.
- Raise monthly invoices, track payments and follow up on non‑payments.
- Meet and greet new tenants and manage meeting‑room bookings.
- Collaborate with Estates for building maintenance work orders.
- Work with IT to meet tenant technology requirements.
- Conduct regular building checks and assist Health & Safety tours.
- Support events and provide paperwork for meetings.
Required profile
- Proficient in MS Office 365, SharePoint and Excel data management.
- Basic understanding of finance and invoicing processes.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work flexibly and interact with customers.

What we offer
- Band C salary of £30,895 per year.
- Full‑time role with flexible working – three days on‑site per week.
- 12‑month fixed‑term contract (maternity cover).
