Admissions Manager – Term‑Time Only (Plus)

About the role

The school is seeking an Admissions Manager to lead the full admissions cycle on a term‑time only plus basis. You will work closely with the Head, senior leaders and marketing colleagues to drive pupil recruitment, monitor conversion rates and support strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the strategic admissions plan in partnership with senior leadership.
• Act as the primary contact for enquiries, guiding families from initial contact through to offers and declines.
• Maintain ongoing communication with prospective parents, manage waiting lists and record expressions of interest.
• Ensure accurate data entry and reporting via the ISAMS MIS system.
• Monitor and publish the school’s Admissions and Scholarship policies on the website.
• Support a range of school events related to recruitment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in school admissions, preferably within an independent school.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational ability and capacity to manage competing deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Approachable and able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with ISAMS (school MIS) or similar admissions management systems.
