Adult Support Worker – Day Shift (Crewe)

About the role

Join a dedicated team at a 4‑bed adult residential home in Crewe, providing day‑time support to adults with autism. You will help residents develop independence, enjoy social activities and receive personal care in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day personal care and support to adults with autism.
• Implement and follow individualised support plans.
• Monitor progress, record observations and report any changes in behaviour or needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and external professionals to maintain a positive environment.
• Participate in training sessions and keep up‑to‑date with best practice.

Required profile

• A caring, patient and reliable attitude with genuine interest in supporting adults with autism.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record‑keeping.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Willingness to learn, attend training and develop professionally.
